Xiamen Airlines (MF)'s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner is on track for delivery.
The upcoming 787 Dreamliner is schedule to arrive at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) on Aug. 31, when the Xiamen-based carrier will become the third 787 operator in mainland China following China Southern Airlines (CZ) and Hainan Airlines (HU). It will initially operate the Dreamliner on domestic flights from Xiamen, Fuzhou to Beijing following its first 787 commercial flight between Fuzhou and Bejing on Sep. 6.
The airline's 787 Dreamliner features a classic three-class configuration with 237 seats - 4 in first class, 18 in business class and 215 in economy class. The first class suites offer passengers complete privacy with a small coat closet. The private suites also feature separated seats that can be easily transformed into a fully flat bed, making you and your family feel like home at 30,000 ft in the air.
The business class employs a 2-2-2 seat configuration - all with aisle access. Each seat can be reclined a full 180 degrees into a flat bed. The economy class features a 3-3-3 configuration, with up to 84cm legroom. Besides, each seat is equipped with a power supply, USB port, noise-cancelling headphones and an individual in-flight entertainment screen with personal closet and stowage for coat, luggage, laptop and personal belongings.
