Video: Air New Zealand Farewells Queen of the Skies - 747

After 33 years of flying millions of customers around the world, the Queen of the Skies officially exited the fleet of Air New Zealand last week.
San Francisco-Auckland was the airline's final 747 flight. The Boeing 747-400, Registration ZK-NBV, departed San Francisco on Sep. 11 and touched down in Auckland on Sep. 12.
The carrier took delivery of its first 747 in May 1981 and has operated a total of 13 747s since then. The 747 fleet has flown 77 billion km in 33 years.
