B/E Aerospace Gets Pacts with Four Airlines

B/E Aerospace Inc. said on Sep. 5 that it received contracts worth more than US$100 million from four airlines to supply seats for their Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
The value of the pacts is expected to climb to more than US$150 after anticipated orders of oxygen systems, passenger service units and various food and beverage products are confirmed.
The agreements with Continental Airlines, Air China, Japan Airlines and an unnamed carrier may be worth a total of approximately US$250 million including option aircraft.
B/E Aerospace will supply all of the companies with business class seats. The Continental Airlines contract also includes coach class seats.
Shares of B/E Aerospace, which makes aircraft cabin products, fell 81 cents, or 2.1 percent, to US$38.73 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between US$19.08 and US$44.69 over the past year.
