Plane Crash Kills Family of Six in California

A small plane crashed in central California, killing a family of six, according to a CNN report on Sep. 1.
The plane crashed near a remote Kern County airport on Aug. 31 and exploded into flames, the report quoted authorities as saying.
All six people aboard, including at least one infant, were killed. The family had been headed to Kern County for a camping trip, said the report.
The cause of the crash was under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
