E-tickets Now Available to Air China's Pudong-outbound International Passengers

Starting from September 2007, many international passengers travelling on Air China flights out of Shanghai Pudong International Airport are able to utilise e-tickets instead of the traditional paper tickets.
During the previous months of 2007, Air China has implemented e-ticketing service for many of its international flights originating from Beijing, Chengdu and Chongqing. However, due to technical difficulties and other factors, e-ticketing was not available to passengers on Air China's Pudong-outbound international flights.
With the full support and assistance of Shanghai Airport Authority, operator of Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and TravelSky, China's sole aviation information technology provider, e-ticketing capability was finally realised recently.
Now, Air China passengers travelling from Shanghai to most of its international destinations are able to purchase e-tickets one-way. Additionally, passengers travelling on Air China from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Frankfurt, San Francisco and Milan can also purchase e-tickets for the return sector.
