Private Plane Crashes in Rural Area of Bogota, Killing 7

On Oct. 11, a private plane crashed shortly after taking off from El Dorado airport in Bogota, capital of Colombia, killing seven and injuring more, local aviation authorities said.
The two-engine plane, which provides a medical service, crashed into a neighborhood in the rural area near Bogota, two crewmembers and three doctors on board as well as two people on the ground were killed. A number of residents were also injured.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
