Helicopter Crashes into Railway Track in Japan, 2 Killed

On Oct. 27, a helicopter crashed into a railway track in Osaka Prefecture of Japan in the afternoon, killing the pilot and a passenger on it, Kyodo News said.
The helicopter, owned by a local aviation company, was making a demonstration flight when the accident occurred at around 3:10 p.m. local time (06:10GMT) near a station of the Koya Line in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, the report said.
The pilot and the passenger were taken to a hospital but were later confirmed dead, according to local police.
Nankai Electric Railway Co. has suspended Koya Line operations after the accident. No damage were made to houses around the railway track, the report said.
