Air China Hosts Gala Event in Paris

Air China Gala Event 2007, organized by the airline's marketing department together with its European Headquarters and Paris office, was held on October 22 at Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris.
More than 150 guests attended the event including representatives from the China Embassy, the China Tourism Bureau in Paris, the Tourism Bureau of Paris, and Air China VIP passengers, clients, agents, tour operators, partners and local media.
Mrs. Zhang Chunzhi, Air China Olympic Committee member and General Manager of Marketing, made a presentation and introduced the Air China brand, products and services at the event.
"There is great potential at the Sino-France air market," says Mrs. Zhang, "The well developing economy in France, the intense trade between France and China and the Schengen visa policy have provided opportunities and dynamics to the Sino-France route."
As the sole airline partner of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Air China is fully improving its service level.
From October 28 onwards, Air China will launch "Forbidden Pavilion" First Class and "Capital Pavilion" Business Class on Sino-France route to bring more comfort and convenience to the passengers.
Along with the launch of the toll-free European hotline +800-86-100-999, Air China is about to launch the brand new European website with e-commerce functions in the Pan-European region.
At the same time, Air China is preparing for the Terminal 3 at Beijing airport with strong human resource and training.
By the end of this year, Air China will be officially joining the world's biggest airline grouping - Star Alliance. It will bring more benefits and seamless service to all Star Alliance members.
Air China, the Chinese flag carrier, is dedicated to connect the world to China, and also to promote Chinese culture.
During the event, Air China crew members performed Chinese cultural dancing, traditional music and opera to all Chinese and French guests.
Air China Gala Event 2007 Paris is the second stop after the successful event in Frankfurt on October 19.
