China Eastern Airlines (MU) reopened the No. 77 VIP lounge at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) on Aug. 12, providing customers a wonderful travel experience.
It is learned that the lounge was closed for decoration in Dec. 2014 and was reopened for a trial operation 250 days later.
The 1,846-square-metre No. 77 VIP lounge is located at the Terminal 2, International Departures of PVG. It can accommodate up to 498 guests.
There are several "zones" in the lounge designed for various functions, such as rest zone, leisure zone, dining zone, surfing zone, as well as bar, showering room, nursing room, smoking room, toilet for disabled people, etc., offering a private and comfortable environment in which customers can relax before their flight.
The lounge was designed by Kinney Chan & Associates, a Hong Kong-based design studio which has designed a lot of VIP lounges in London, Vancouver and Singapore.
The Shanghai-based carrier said it will officially open the No. 77 VIP lounge in September.
