WestJet Airlines (WS) unveiled a new Frozen-themed Boeing 737 featuring Anna, Elsa, and Olaf on Sunday - its second custom-painted Disney-themed aircraft.
The newest custom-painted plane features characters Anna and Elsa casting snowy magic from the aircraft's tail towards the nose, where Olaf the sun-loving snowman is depicted relaxing on a warm, Florida beach.
The plane's interior also got a makeover, featuring decals and headrest covers that follow the exterior's cold-to-warm theme.
According to WestJet, it took the painting crew 21 days of 12-hour rotations to magically transform a six-year-old Boeing 737-800 into a striking piece of aviation artistry. A post on WestJet's blog said it took 642.5 liters of sparkle-infused paint to complete the project - twice the amount of a regular airplane paint job.
According to a flight plan filed by WestJet, the plane's maiden flight will be on the airline's daily Toronto to Orlando route, set to depart Monday morning at 10:45 a.m. local time.
This marks WestJet's second Disney-themed plane, as the airline debuted its "Magic" plane in 2013 featuring Sorceror Mickey from the 1940 Disney classic Fantasia.
WestJet staff worked with Disney Artists to design this cool new livery which comes to life in this time-lapse video.
