Qantas will add more flights to the key Asian gateways of Singapore and Hong Kong next month.

On December 1, the airline will add new Tuesday and Thursday services between Singapore and Perth on a year-round basis, using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This will boost the frequency of the route from five flights per week to daily.

And from December 11, 2015 to March 23, 2016, the Australian carrier will operate a second service on a Friday between Sydney and Hong Kong, taking the total frequency to 12 flights per week. This includes double daily flights from Monday to Friday.

And certain services will be upgraded to Qantas' largest aircraft, the Airbus A380, over the Christmas and New Year period.

"We're seeing Australian companies continue to expand their business in Asia, while the lower dollar is making Australia an even more attractive place to visit," said Qantas International's CEO, Gareth Evans.

"Hong Kong-Sydney is a busy trade corridor and we're delighted to be able to give business travellers and holidaymakers more choice of flights on this route."

"Singapore-Perth has been a success story since Qantas flights resumed in June. We've had fantastic backing from the community and the time is right to go daily all year round."
