Cathay Pacific Airways Wednesday opened a brand new lounge at Level 4 in the Departure Hall of Terminal 1 at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

The newly renovated lounge at Taoyuan adopts the Hong Kong-based carrier's new lounge design that has already won praise from passengers in other key Cathay Pacific destinations within the region including Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Manila and Bangkok.

The 1,253-square meter Taipei lounge can accommodate up to 245 people - approximately 100 more than the previous lounge. The new facility offers a comfortable environment, with an emphasis on understated luxury, where First and Business Class passengers can relax before their flight.
