The countdown to the delivery of the China-made ARJ21-700 regional jet has begun, said COMAC.
The ARJ21-700 aircraft (serial number 106) has recently received its official registration number, B-3321, one step closer to its delivery to launch customer Chengdu Airlines (EU).
The ARJ21-700, wearing the livery of Chengdu Airlines, is just like a bride, who is waiting patiently for her groom to come, according to Jetliner, a magazine operated by COMAC.
COMAC is due to deliver the first of 30 ARJ21-700s on order to the Chengdu-based carrier in late November.
The ARJ21's first commercial flight may be on the Chengdu to Shanghai or Beijing route in February 2016, according to an early report.
COMAC has secured 315 orders for the ARJ21-700 from 19 customers at home and abroad.
