China's Juneyao Airlines (HO) is set to take delivery of a brand new Airbus A321-200 aircraft on Dec. 23.
The new Airbus jetliner, Registration B-8407, is configured with a two class cabin layout (12 first and 178 economy). Besides, the airliner is equipped with sharklets and powered by the V2500 engines.
Since Sep. 25, 2006 when the Shanghai-based airline started its maiden flight, Juneyao Airlines has expanded its fleet to 49 aircraft currently. The new A321 will expand the carrier's fleet size up to 50 - 38 A320s and 12 A321s, with an average age of 3 years old.
Based in Shanghai, Juneyao Airlines has developed an improved route network of over 80 routes covering mainland China (Beijing, Shenzhen, Wenzhou, etc.), Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia.
Airline insiders revealed that the airline is expected to break a new record by year end, transporting 10 million passengers in all this year.
