Hong Kong Airlines Holds Ceremony to Mark Its Relocation of Check-in Counters to HKIA Terminal 2

In order to provide better services to travellers and to match with business development of Hong Kong Airlines, effective from November 28, 2007, check-in counters of Hong Kong Airlines (HKA) have been relocated into Aisle P, Level 5 of Terminal 2* at Hong Kong International Airport. And a ceremony was held to celebrate the successful relocation.
It was an honour for Hong Kong Airlines to have Mr. Stanley Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong, delivering a speech and the award-winning Lion Dance Team of the Hong Kong Fire Service Department performing lion dances. More than 200 guests from travel agents, airline companies, airport business partners and the media attended the ceremony and conveyed their best wishes to HKA!
Mr. Stanley Hui, Chief Executive Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong, welcomed Hong Kong Airlines to Terminal 2. Mr. Hui said, "The joining of HKA brings the total number of airlines operating from T2 to 12. Altogether, these airlines offer more than 260 departing flights a week, accounting for about 12% of the departures at Hong Kong International Airport."
Mr. Ren Wei Dong, Executive Chairman of Hong Kong Airlines, said, "Terminal 2 is more spacious and provides better comfort to the increasing number of Hong Kong Airlines passengers. It will also provide us with the opportunity to expand and centralize our check-in counter service, and to achieve the target of providing 'Brand New Image, Brand New Service & Brand New Feeling' to our valuable travellers."
* If departure time of HKA flights is between 03:00 to 07:00, check-in and departure services will be provided at Aisle J, 7th Level, Terminal 1. Other than this period of time, HKA services will remain in T2.
