FedEx's Asia-Pacific Hub at Guangzhou Airport to Start Operations in 2008

FedEx's Asia-Pacific hub at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will start operations at the end of next year, the express delivery company said on December 27.
The US company announced plans in 2005 to build a hub, the largest of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, in Guangzhou with total investment of US$150 million.
DHL and UPS are building international hubs at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The UPS center will open next year and DHL's will be completed in the second half of 2010.
