A brand new Airbus A320 aircraft of Qingdao Airlines -- with a camellia japonica flower painted on its tail -- landed smoothly at Qingdao Liuting International Airport at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday following a 13-hour flight from Toulouse, France.
The A320 aircraft, Registration B-1695, is the first aircraft the airline has received this year, bringing Qingdao Airlines' fleet to eight.
The latest A320-214 jetliner is configured with 8 business seats and 150 economy seats.
The new arrival will increase the airline's capacity in the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush.
Besides, one more A320 aircraft will join the airline on January 23, when the Qingdao-based carrier will further boost its capacity and provide convenience for travelers in the peak travel season.
