Emirates has brought its two-class configured A380 to the Bahrain International Airshow 2016 (Jan. 21-23), allowing both trade visitors and the general public to familiarise themselves with the new double-decker.
It is the two-class A380's first appearance at the Bahrain airshow. Emirates' two class configured A380, which is also the world's first two-class A380, features 58 flatbed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates' popular OnBoard Lounge.
The newest version of Emirates' A380 features among the widest individual in-seat Economy Class screens in the industry, measuring in at 13.3 inches. The two-class A380 commenced operations to Copenhagen in December 2015.
As the world's largest operator of the A380, Emirates is flying their superjumbos to 36 destinations around the world from Dubai. Recently, the airline announced that it will add Washington D.C, Birmingham, Prague and Taipei to its A380 network in 2016. The airline currently has 72 A380s in service and has a further 68 on firm order.
