Japan Transocean Air (NU) took delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft (JA01RK) in Seattle, the U.S. on January 21.
Japan Airlines (JL) subsidiary will start operating its 737-800 aircraft on double-daily Okinawa Naha-Fukuoka and Okinawa Naha-Miyakojima routes starting February 10, 2016.
JTA has 12 737-800s on order, all of which will be used to replace its ageing fleet of 737-400s.
