Xiamen Airlines 787 Diverted to Nanchang After Engine Failure

A Xiamen Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner, performing flight MF8106, made an emergency landing in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province on Wednesday night after suffering an engine trouble, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Flight MF8106, bound for Xiamen, took off from Beijing Capital International Airport at 7:46 p.m., and the crew requested an emergency landing with Nanchang Changbei International Airport around 9:35 p.m., after reporting an oil problem with the right hand engine (GEnx).
The crew shut the engine down and diverted for a safe landing about one hour later. No injuries were reported.
The 787-800 Dreamliner, Registration B-2763, was delivered to Xiamen Airlines in September 2015.
