Juneyao Airlines to Launch First Russian Service in June

China's Juneyao Airlines has received approval from the Russian aviation authority to begin nonstop flights between Shanghai and Irkutsk.
Starting June 20, the Shanghai-based carrier plans to launch seasonal services from its hub to the eastern Siberian city, its first Russian destination, Irkutsk International Airport said in a statement.
Juneyao Airlines will operate the Shanghai-Irkutsk service thrice weekly until October 29, 2016, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
In late March, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) released a notice about Juneyao Airlines' application for the Shanghai-Irkutsk service.
According to the notice, the Shanghai-based carrier was planned to operate the Russian service on a daily basis, using Airbus A320/A321 aircraft.
