Hainan Airlines' first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner rolled out of paint shop on Sunday, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The 787-9 Dreamliner, Registration B-7880 in full company livery, was spotted by Flickr user Woodys Aeroimages just outside the Boeing Everett assembly plant as its delivery date nears.
The Haikou-based carrier is expected to take delivery of its first 787-9s in June, with seven more pending delivery later this year.
Besides Hainan Airlines, other two Chinese airlines will become 787-9 operators in 2016 - Air China is scheduled to receive its first on May 5 followed by Xiamen Airlines on December 8.
