China Eastern Airlines' first Disney-themed aircraft took its inaugural flights on Tuesday noon, when flight MU5105 landed at Beijing Capital International Airport.
The Airbus A330-300 aircraft, Registration B-6120, departed from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 10:14 a.m. and touched down at Beijing Airport at 11:55 a.m., 20 minutes earlier than scheduled, according to VariFlight, China's leading flight status service provider.
Many passengers are immersed in the Disney experience as soon as they set foot on board with the airline saying there will be a themed service, and special elements in the flight attendants' uniforms.
Besides MU5105, the Disney-themed aircraft started serving more flights on Shanghai-Beijing routes, including MU5114, MU5121, MU5160.
The Shanghai-based carrier officially unveiled the Disney-themed aircraft on Monday evening, which is painted in blue with two giant Mickey and Minnie Mouse figures on fuselage.
It's sort of pity that there is no special in interiors.
