China Eastern Airlines' second Disney-themed aircraft has completed painting work in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The painters covered an Airbus A320 with more than 1,100 litres, 60 kinds of paint from nose to tail in the hangar of China Eastern Northwest Branch. Rotating 13-person crews worked 12-hour shifts for 24 days straight to finish the whimsical job.
The A320, Registration B-6635, will be put into service on Shanghai Pudong and Chengdu route in near future.
To celebrated the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort, the Shanghai-based carrier will feature six aircraft in Disney liveries, including one Boeing 777, one 737, two Airbus A330s and two A320s.
China Eastern unveiled its first Disney-themed aircraft on Monday evening, which started serving Shanghai-Beijing route from Tuesday morning.
