China Airlines has officially unveiled the cabin designs of its A350, ahead of the aircraft delivery in July.
Featuring a three-class configuration, the A350 will offer 32 seats in Premium Business, 31 in premium economy and 243 in economy - of which 12 are Family Couch seats.
At first glance, the A350 seats are similar to those found on China Airlines' B777-300ER.
Like those found on the Boeing aircraft, the A350's Premium Business seat is once again the Super Diamond product by B/E Aerospace. The 1-2-1 layout, 18-inch IFE screen and personal table lamp can be found on both aircraft. However, the colour of the seat padding is noticeably lighter on the A350, while the carpet also has a unique design.
Premium economy on the A350 is the same Zodiac AIRgo FX premium seats found on the B777-300ER. The design is identical on both aircraft but due to the cabin width of the A350, China Airlines has only fitted seven seats (2-3-2) in a single row. In contrast, the B777-300ER features an eight abreast, 2-4-2 configuration.
Economy class will feature a 3-3-3 seating layout. Seat width is a comfortable 18 inches, while each seat also offers 116 degrees of recline and a 32-inch pitch.
Finally, the Sky Lounge concept found on the B777-300ER will be finding its way onto the A350, albeit it with a new branding as the "Sky Bistro". It will continue to function as a space where premium passengers can find snacks and reading materials during their flight.
