On July 19, a China Eastern Airlines Airbus A320-200 performing flight MU227 from Yantai, Shandong Province to Osaka, Japan, had forced to make an emergency landing at Qingdao Liuting International Airport shortly after takeoff when the crew reported a hydraulic leak.
The A320, Registration B-6586, departed from Yantai Airport at 2:47 p.m. but the crew requested an emergency landing in Qingdao at 4:04 p.m., due to the suspect hydraulic leak, according to a Weibo post by Feixingquan.
A replacement A320-200, Registration B-6636, reached Osaka with a delay of three hours
