EVA Airways Purchases a Boeing 787 Simulator

EVA Airways has purchased a Boeing 787 flight simulator.
The 787 simulator was acquired from L-3 Link Simulation and Training with US$17.7 million, the Taipei-based carrier said in a Taiwan Stock Exchange disclosure on September 1.
It did not disclose when the simulator will be delivered, but it is likely to be based at its Taipei headquarters.
EVA Airways has orders for 24 Boeing 787-10s, marking the largest single commercial airplane purchase in Taiwan aviation.
