A family has thanked volunteers from China Eastern Airlines for their kind efforts in helping them fulfil their 11-year girl's final wish.
The airline flight attendants turned a hospital ward into an aircraft cabin in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, to help fulfill the flying dream of the little girl suffering from late-stage ovarian cancer.
The girl, Kong Ling, said she wanted to take a flight for seaseeing when her father asked her if she had any wishes or desires several days ago. However, her physical condition made it difficult to head out.
Volunteers from Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines then helped simulate a vivid flight experience for the girl by decorating the walls as the cabin and simulating the whole flight procedure at the hospital ward.
