The A350-900 XWB test aircraft touched down at Haikou Meilan International Airport on October 31 as the first stop of an 11-day, five-city demonstration tour of China.

A350-900, MSN002, arrived in China for its first public display at Zhuhai Airshow on October 29. Following the two day displays, the wide-body aircraft left Zhuhai for Beijing on the night of November 2.

On November 3, Airbus showcased the A350 at Beijing Capital International Airport, during which Air China staff representatives boarded the airliner and experienced the modern and high-tech cabin equipments. The flag carrier has 10 A350-900s on order, which plans to take delivery of first of the type in the second half of 2017.

The remainder of the tour will take the Airbus flight crew to Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu from which they'll return home to Toulouse on November 8.
