Winners of a Thailand student competition that addresses environmental aspects of air transport were welcomed to Toulouse, France for briefings on Airbus technical innovations, along with visits to the A350 XWB and A380 final assembly lines, and a close-up look at the passenger cabin mock-up centre.

Thai Airways International (THAI) is the sponsor of this contest, called "TG Travel Green Innovation," with the nine winners from its second competition provided the opportunity to visit Airbus' Toulouse, France headquarters during November.

Accompanied by their professors and two TV crews, the group initially flew to Paris aboard one of THAI's A380 jetliners, then travelled to Toulouse in southwestern France for a first-hand experience at the heart of Airbus operations.
