China Southern to Receive First A320neo This Week

China Southern Airlines is scheduled to take delivery of the country's first Airbus A320neo aircraft this week.
The A320neo, Registration B-8545, will arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on December 15 after a delivery ceremony in Toulouse, France on December 13.
In early 2015, China Southern signed an agreement with Dutch lessor, AerCap for 24 A320neo aircraft. Delivery of the A320neos to China Airlines is scheduled between 2016 and 2019.
In April 2016, an A320neo test aircraft, Registration D-AVVB (MSN6642), made its debut in China and conducted flying tests in Lijiang and Daocheng Yading, where has world's highest airport.
