Three people survived a plane crash in rural Ventura County near Los Angeles on Feb. 8, authorities said.
The pilot in the private plane reported engine trouble after taking off from the Camarillo Airport at about 7 p.m., Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said.
The plane then crashed in an orchard, but all people on board survived, Gregor said.
Gregor said the three people had only minor injuries and were able to get out of the plane on their own.
They were taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, Gregor said.
