Dozens of flights were cancelled and all baggage check-in suspended after the luggage handling system broke down causing misery for travellers using London Heathrow's new Terminal 5 (T5).
On March 27, Terminal 5, which took almost two decades to plan and erect, received its first flight, from Hong Kong just before 05:00GMT in the morning.
However, as afternoon wore on, luggage check-in was suspended throughout the terminal, according to UK media.
