Xiamen Airlines is seeking rights for permission to launch four international services to Kalibo and Cebu in Philippines.
Pending government approval, the Xiamen-based carrier plans to launch two daily services to Kalibo in March from Fuzhou and Xiamen, according to a notice released Friday on the CAAC's website.
It also applied for two twice services from Fuzhou and Quanzhou to Cebu in April.
All four routes will be operated by Boeing 737-700/-800 aircraft, the CAAC added.
The Air Transportation Department of CAAC is soliciting public comments on the application until January 25, 2017.
