As Chinese Lunar New Year approaching, Hainan Airlines unveiled a special all-red livery on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (B-6998) via its Weibo account on January 22.
The airline disclosed it's not the Dreamliner's final painting, without more details.
Chinese avgeeks commented under the Weibo post, guessing that the 787-9 Dreamliner will probably be painted with a Kung-Fu Panda livery.
In June 2016, Hainan Airlines reached a new collaboration with DreamWorks Animation to feature the "Kung Fu Panda" film franchise on six 787-9 Dreamliners, delivered in 2016-2017, which provides nonstop service between China and seven North American destinations.
