Alitalia Opened Its Specialized Store on Alitrip Platform

Alitalia has opened its specialized store on Alitrip (Fliggy), one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the world, in cooperation with CITS, the Airline's General Sales Agent (GSA) in China. Alitalia is now able to offer to Chinese passengers more destinations in Italy, Europe and all over the world. With hundreds of millions of internet users in China, more and more Chinese travelers are making trip arrangements online and, thanks to this new store, Alitalia's Chinese passengers may plan their trips and book tickets easier and faster.
Since July 2016, Alitalia has operated four weekly flights between Beijing and Rome Fiumicino with Airbus A330 aircraft. Chinese passengers can feel a sense of Italy upon boarding the airline's newly designed planes, equipped with exclusive 'Made in Italy' amenities, products and services for customers. Business Class passengers can relax in luxurious Italian-brand Poltrona Frau leather seats that recline fully to a comfortable flatbed position and enjoy award-winning onboard dining featuring the best of Italian regional food and wine. Alitalia's new 'dine anytime' meal service allows customers to decide when they prefer to eat on board.
All classes of travel - business, premium economy and economy - feature newly renovated cabins and include Wi-Fi connectivity for phone calls, Internet and e-mail. Two Mandarin speaking cabin crew are on board every Alitalia flight between Beijing and Rome to assist Chinese passengers. Travellers from China can also take advantage of convenient Alitalia flights to over 50 cities in Italy, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa through Rome Fiumicino airport, Alitalia's main hub for transferring passengers, which obtained the 'Welcome Chinese Certification', the only hospitality standard recognized by Chinese authorities and specifically dedicated to Chinese travelers.
