2017 CACS: Changes and Insights

The 2017 Civil Aviation Communications Summit(CACS) and Civil Aviation Communication Award Ceremony opened on November 29 in Beijing.
The 8th Communications Summit, themed "Changes and Insights", lasted for two days. It gathered 300 industry elites to probe into the issues involving "Brand Strategy Revolution of Airlines","Airlines' Marketing Communication in 'Internet+ Era'", "Aviation Company Brand Competitiveness Development", "New Trend in Airlines' Service Marketing" and so on. In terms of civil aviation marketing, brand building and communication, the summit facilitated the development of civil aviation.
Founder of Civil Aviation Resource Net of China (CARNOC) and VariFlight, Mr. Zheng Hongfeng attended the summit and also held the round-table discussion of "the Research of New Type Hub Construction with Transit between Airlines". "The first-tier hubs have been established in China following the Western style, that is to say, one base airlines solves all the problems while for the second and third-tier airport hubs, the mode of transit between airlines has been germinating", said Mr. Zheng in the meeting, after which Fan Qingsong, Executive Director of Huaxia Airlines, Xiao Quanwu, Big Data Executive Director from Ctrip and Yao Heng, Marketing Manager from Inner Mongolia Airport Group explained their original insights on trans-airlines transit.
Besides the shares of all the masters in civil aviation, another highlight for the summit was the Award Ceremony of Civil Aviation Communication. Airlines like Air China, Hainan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Juneyao Airlines etc. received "Excellent Marketing Communication Award of 2017", "Excellent Brand Communication Award", "Excellent Communication Innovation Award" and so on. Baiyun Airport and Xi'an Aircraft International Corporation were rewarded "One Belt One Road Construction Award". Last but not least, official public online platform of 8 airlines, namely, Xiamen Airlines, Spring Airlines and China Southern Airlines etc. were recommended as the most influential ones in China.
