ACTE Expands Educational Programming into Latin America
Feb. 23, 2018
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and Academia de Viagens Corporativas (Academia) are expanding their educational programming to the business travel industry in Latin America, which will now include new opportunities such as conducting research, offering digital products and webinars along with new in-person education event formats.
The partnership will deliver education that addresses industry issues at a local, regional and global level along with research focused on the Latin America region. Events are planned in Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Columbia throughout 2018. Subjects include business travel trends, procurement best practices, and meetings and incentives. A multiday corporate travel networking and educational summit will be held in October in Rio de Janeiro. The partners also will provide webinars and whitepapers.
"ACTE has always believed in forging local partnerships to expand our network and to ensure we are delivering the best local and global perspectives. The best way to deliver excellence is to partner with the best. Academia has been training and educating the Latin American business travel community for more than a decade. It's the perfect partner for this dynamic region," said Greeley Koch, ACTE's executive director.
ACTE and Academia first formed an alliance in 2015 to deliver six educational sessions in Latin America through 2016. This joint endeavor expands on that momentum by boosting both the number and variety of formats of education events delivered in the region.
"This partnership brings together two great organizations known for quality education and innovation. ACTE is the leader in global insight, and the breadth of its programming is exhaustive. Academia offers the best in local perspective, insight and service," said Vivianne Martins, director of Academia de Viagens Corporativas.
