One year after the launch at the MRO Americas in Orlando, AVIATAR, the only existing independent and open digital platform for the aviation industry, is on track with its continuously evolving apps and has now more than 500 aircraft on the platform.
New to AVIATAR is the innovative QuickBoarding feature, which is available for every interested airline within 24 hours. The trial version is free of charge for a few weeks. It allows airlines to experience AVIATAR's user friendly design and the key apps Fleet Management, Condition Monitoring and Reliability Management for efficient technical operations, which have been developed with the feedback of airlines and Lufthansa Technik engineers.
For all MROs and airlines world-wide AVIATAR has recently added three new apps:
MROradar is a digital RFP (Request for Proposal) platform for aircraft base maintenance that offers airlines and MROs to have a lean, efficient and comparable RFP process.
AirGlance digitalizes and streamlines reporting along a Base Maintenance Layover and thus optimizes communication between MROs and airline customers during base maintenance events.
ToolNOW, which was launched in March 2018, is the first online brokerage platform for tool loans in the aviation industry.
The AVIATAR cloud-based infrastructure ensures the highest standard of data security for customer data in compliance with European data protection requirements, in particular for personal data. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available to all airlines and potential partners.
From 10th to 12th April, Lufthansa Technik will present AVIATAR at its booth (#957) at MRO Americas 2018 in Orlando, Florida. Experts from Lufthansa Technik's Digital Fleet Solutions division will be available for detailed information.
