Typhoon Neoguri Disrupts Air Traffic in Hong Kong

Air traffic in Hong Kong was disrupted by Typhoon Neoguri on April 19, with more than 100 flights delayed or canceled.
By 5 p.m., nine flights to and from the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) had been canceled and 17 flights to Hong Kong was diverted to other places, the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) said, adding 102 flights to and from Hong Kong had been delayed.
At 8 p.m., Neoguri was estimated to be about 150 kilometers west-northwest of Hong Kong and is forecast to move northeast at about 18 kilometers per hour moving into Guangdong Province on the Chinese mainland.
Neoguri, the first typhoon in south China this year, landed at Dongping Town, Yangdong County of Guangdong Province at 2:15 p.m., after April 18's landfall at Longlou Town, Wenchang City in the northeast of the island province of Hainan.
