On May 24, three people were injured as a helicopter of Sunrise Airlines of Taiwan crashed at 00:15 at Shang-yi Airport in Kinmen, Taiwan local media reported.
The helicopter, which returned to Kinmen after sending an emergency patient to Taipei, crashed when it tried to land at the airport amid heavy fog. It didn't explode.
The three injured, including a pilot, a co-pilot and a life-saver, have been sent to hospital, and been out of danger after treatment.
The airport runway has been closed due to safety consideration and investigation need.
It's the first helicopter crash at the airport since it started to operate civil flights nearly 20 years ago.
