Pakistan Renames Capital Airport in Memory of Benazir Bhutto

On Jun. 20, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani renamed the Islamabad International Airport as Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
The decision was made on the eve of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's birth anniversary on Jun. 21.
Bhutto was killed at the gate of Liaquat Bagh park in the city of Rawalpindi on Dec. 27, 2007, after addressing an election rally.
