Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport will offer flight check-in service directly at the venue of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). For this purpose, the airport has set up remote check-in desks at the Expoforum exhibition and business center that will host SPIEF on May 24-26, 2018.
Pulkovo Airport counters at SPIEF will operate daily on the 23-26 May, 2018 from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The forum participants taking off from Pulkovo within specified dates will be able to check in, confirm their boarding pass immediately, as well as check in and weigh their baggage, and receive a baggage tag. Upon arrival at the airport before departure, the previously checked baggage should be dropped off at the terminal at 24/7 desks #213-215 or at the desks of the responsible airline.
This service is free and will be provided for all airlines flying out of St. Petersburg both domestic and international.
Moreover, at the dedicated counters at Expoforum the Pulkovo staff will provide the forum participants with information on the flights status, security procedures and services available at the airport. The participants will also be able to order Fast Track and Pulkovo Airport VIP-lounge services.
The Pulkovo Airport check-in counters at Expoforum are marked #12 and #13 and located in the passageway on the first floor of the center.
"For the first time, we have opened the check-in counters for passengers and their baggage directly at the SPIEF event venue, providing this service for all airlines both domestic and international. We expect this service to be popular with the forum participants, allowing them to save time on pre-flight formalities and making their travel through Pulkovo Airport even more comfortable and pleasant", said Oliver Weiss, Chief Operations Officer at Northern Capital Gateway, the operator of Pulkovo Airport.
SPIEF 2018 will take place in St. Petersburg on the 24-26 May. Over 15,000 guests from more than 140 countries are expected to attend the forum.
