From July 2 to 6, the 2018 recurrent training for civil aviation emergency management inspectors was carried out by CAAC in Qingdao to make inspectors more competent in administrative law enforcement and to reinforce supervision of civil aviation emergency management. 61 inspectors from CAAC Regional Administrations and Safety Supervision and Management Bureaus participated in the training.
The training was organized by the Department of General Affairs, and the Operation Monitoring Center of CAAC. Nine experts on emergency management from Chinese Academy of Governance, CAAC, Capital Airport Holding Company, and the GoCrisis Management Pty. Limited from Australia were invited to give lectures to the inspectors on the institutional reform of national emergency management, the building of civil aviation emergency system, emergency activities carried out by both civil aviation public institutions and enterprises, emergency response to aircraft accident and assistance for passenger families. The training also included a session for in-depth analysis and discussion on the reform dedicated to enhancing emergency coping capabilities.
In recent years, CAAC kept enhancing its emergency coping capability by developing regulations and systems, improving facilities and equipment, enhancing personnel training, and conducting emergency exercises. According to the trainees, this training was well organized with rich courses and highlights, providing a good platform for inspectors to study, communicate and exchange ideas, thus enabling them to enhance their awareness of regulations, promote law-based administration and enhance emergency coping capabilities.
