Shanghai Police Receives Its Second H155 with Improved Avionics

Airbus Helicopters has delivered an H155 helicopter equipped with the latest Garmin GTN™ 750 avionics suite to the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. This aircraft is the operator's second H155 and the fifth Airbus helicopter to join its fleet.
The helicopter will be deployed on multiple public services missions, such as law enforcement, patrol, firefighting, and search and rescue. It comes equipped with search lights, hoists and an electro-optical system, in addition to the upgraded avionics system.

H155 is high quality multifunctional 5-ton twin helicopter. It's developed from Airbus Helicopters' well-known Dolphin family. H155 is renowned with its outstanding cabin, comfort, high speed and long cruising ability, which makes it an ideal choice for passenger transportation, corporate aviation, long range offshore oil and gas transportation, HEMS, SAR and police aviation. By end of last year, a total of 1100 Dauphin family helicopters have been delivered with over 6.5 million flight hours, demonstrating its safety and reliability.
Since 2002, H155 has been operating in China on offshore oil & gas transportation and police aviation. Today, nearly 30 H155s are flying over the Chinese skies operated by some major police customers.
