CAAC and CAS Sign a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On May 14, the Strategic Cooperation Symposium & Signing Ceremony between Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in Beijing. Feng Zhenglin, Administrator of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and Bai Chunli, President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides. Deputy CAAC Administrator Lyu Erxue and Vice President of CAS Zhang Yaping attended the signing ceremony.
According to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, CAAC and CAS will prioritize key areas of cooperation and carry out strategic cooperation in fields such as scientific and technological projects and achievements, construction of science and technology innovation platforms, personnel training, and scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges, to further enhance the independent innovation capability and core competitiveness of China civil aviation and enable the commercialization and application of innovations in the civil aviation field.
During the meeting, under the joint witness of the leaders of the two sides, eight civil aviation entities signed 17 cooperation agreements with 14 entities affiliated to CAS.
