Fortune Global 500 Comes Out: No Chinese Airlines

The list of 2019 Fortune Global 500 was formally released on July 22. The gross sales income of the listed 500 companies in total almost reached US$32.7 trillion, up 8.9% year on year. The gross profit set a new record of US$2.15 trillion, up 14.5% year on year.
Besides, the number of Chinese giants and American ones were firstly neck and neck: 129 from China, exceeding America, 121 companies for the first time in history. Even without the companies in Taiwan, the amount of companies from Mainland China (including Hongkong) was up to 119, close to that of America, a historic progress.
In terms of companies from aviation industry, the Top 3 airlines in America (American Airlines Group, Delta Air Lines and United Continental Holdings), Lufthansa Group, Air France-KLM Group, International Airlines Group from Europe, and Emirates Group from the Middle East were on the list, while there were no Chinese airlines on the list this time.
On the aspect of aviation manufacturing industry, Boeing and Airbus were No. 68 and No.123 respectively.
Aviation Industry Corporation of China and China National Aviation Fuel Group were No.151 and No.283 on the list separately.
