China's First Airbus H215 Helicopter Unveiled and Ready for Operation

China's very first Airbus H215 helicopter officially unveiled during the 5th China International Helicopters Exposition in Tianjin. The H215 is a member of Airbus' mission-proven Super Puma family of heavy twin-engine helicopters, which saw its 1,000th unit delivered in September 2019.
This H215 is operated by State Grid General Aviation Company (SGGAC) which is a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), the world's largest utility company. SGGAC performs aerial construction and maintenance work along China's network of high and very-high voltage power lines.
With its outstanding long-range, high speed, and extra payload capabilities, the H215 will become a good addition for the SGGAC's existing fleet of Airbus helicopters and will support them to perform demanding missions such as cable repair, cable laying, workforce and cargo transportation, and power line pylons constructions in difficult-to-reach areas.
