Trends of aviation operation have been highly correlated with coronvirus development. It's obviously that the United State and European countries are now in particular fast rise, and civil aviation in those countries will get worse and may take longer to recover.

By comparing the daily number of seats on flights operated in hard-hit countries and relative flight routes (rolling 7-day average) in 2019 and 2020 provided by Airsavvi , we make the CARDI (Real-time Dynamic Indicators of Novel Coronavirus Affecting Airline Operations) to quantitatively analyze the impact of the epidemic and observe real-time changes of the curve.

With the effective execution of anti-epidemic measures, the national outbreak is gradually being controlled, and operated domestic flights have started to rise steadily after experiencing a sustained fall.
Meanwhile, international flights has dropped due to the restriction of inbound and outgoing air travel to curtail the imported coronavirus cases.

Impacts on Global Airports
Since March 16, among the TOP150 airports global, the number of airports in mainland China that have reduced flights by more than 50% year-on-year is below 20, while other countries and territories has been rising rapidly close to 110, which is the highest it's ever been.
