Bedek Lingyun Delivers Its First Passenger-to-Cargo Converted Aircraft

On the morning of August 8th, Bedek Lingyun (Yichang) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Bedek Lingyun) successfully held the handover ceremony for its first passenger-to-cargo converted aircraft.
This passenger-to-cargo conversion project, carried out in collaboration between Bedek Lingyun and Israel IAI, commenced on August 15th, 2022, when the aircraft officially entered the facility for conversion under the bonded maintenance policy. Throughout the conversion process, the entire company worked together with dedication, overcoming obstacles, ensuring product quality with a rigorous work attitude and solid work style. The conversion tasks were carried out in strict accordance with FAA requirements. This achievement set the record for the shortest down-jack time of the IAI 737-800 passenger-to-cargo conversion program globally, laying a solid foundation for the future establishment of the IAI Asian conversion center.
